My first house
'kensington' in early stages

In the beginning

I have always wanted a dolls house!! And it wasnt until around 8 years ago I decided to get one - luckily for me I had help in building it, as i wouldnt have known where to start, not being great with my hands!!
However, I no longer have that help and after 5 years of collecting dust in the spare room the house is now being completed slowly!!
Here I will record all my progress, I hope you enjoy seeing it come to life over the months (hopefully not years)

coming on nicely




Have added the stair carpet which Im rather pleased about, havent attempted the bannister and spindles yet, but will have to eventually!! Made a mistake with patching a carpet in at the front instead of keeping it at the back, so shall have to rectify that so its not as noticable

    Having been watching your progress, I can't agree that you aren't great with your hands. :) All you needed was to get started.
